We’re ready to kick off our sponsorship program for the 2010/2011 season! Participation in this program is mandatory for all booster club families.
This program is really easy and the more money we raise, the less you’ll have to pay out of your own pocket!
For anyone new to the booster club, this will be our 5th year for sponsorships. This program has been a big help not only to the general fund, but to gymnasts’ individual accounts. Gymnasts receive 20% of the sponsorships they collect into their individual accounts which may be used for various LGA expenses.
Sponsors can be family, friends, or a business. We are offering 6 levels of sponsorships this year, starting at just $25!!
If you plan on approaching a business, you will need to submit the name of the business to the Sponsorship Chairperson, Wendi Rhoad, before approaching them. Wendi will be keeping a list of all businesses LGA gymnasts have solicited to avoid any one business being approached multiple times.
So, here’s the process...step-by-step:
1. Submit the name(s) of the business(es) that you plan to approach for sponsorships to Wendi Rhoad, either via email at:

or contact her directly at 313-330-2322. You must receive approval for business sponsors BEFORE you make contact with that business.
2. Download the sponsorship cover letter and agreement form from our website: www.livoniagymnastics.com.
and click on Forms Tab.
3. Visit the potential sponsor in person, especially if it’s a business, to make your request.
4. Your sponsor(s) can either give you their check and signed agreement form, or they can mail them to the LGA PO Box (address is on the agreement form). Be sure to put your gymnast’s name on the agreement form so she receives credit for the sponsorship.
That’s it – it’s that simple! If you have any questions or problems, please don’t hesitate to contact Wendi Rhoad, or anyone on the Booster Club Board. All sponsorships should be submitted by September 17, 2010.

The membership also voted to have an opt-out fee for mandatory fundraisers. If you would rather opt-out of this fundraiser, the fee to do so is listed on the second page of the description document. Complete the form on the attached page and return it with your check payable to LGA Booster Club.
